Paul Haigh, headteacher of King Ecgbert School, has been appointed as one of 20 government-appointment new RISE advisers.
We are proud and humbled to support the sector with experienced leadership, benefiting children and families across our region.
Paul said:
I'm honoured to be asked by the Department for Education to support school improvement across our region.
I look forward to working alongside other leaders to make a difference where it matters most.
Paul will remain as headteacher at King Ecgbert School and do this work as a part-time secondment around that ongoing substantive responsibility. The school has a long track record of success founded on a team of experienced leaders which will continue.
