King Ecgbert School
The founding school in our trust, King Ecgbert School is an outstanding 11-18+ secondary located on the fringe of Sheffield with approximately 1400 students. The school is over-subscribed.

Mercia School
A free school established in 2018 by Mercia Learning Trust, the school is growing by one year group per academic year, and is over-subscribed.
In 2023, Mercia School was rated the number one school in the country for the progress of disadvantaged pupils. Mercia was third nationally for overall performance of all pupils.
Mercia School offers an education that is traditional and academically rigorous.

Newfield School
Newfield School is a strongly good 11-16 secondary school with approximately 1000 students serving a community in the south of Sheffield.
It has been on a rapid improvement journey since it was sponsored by our trust in 2015. Outcomes in recent years have been well above average and, as a result, the school is over-subscribed.

Our Primary Schools
Woodlands Primary School
Woodlands is a 2-11 school with approximately 450 pupils, serving the Gleadless and Norton community in the south of Sheffield.
Inspected in February 2022, the school has been upgraded to 'Good' in all areas following a period of intense improvement across the whole school.
Woodlands Primary was formerly Valley Park Primary until January 2022.

Anns Grove Primary School
Anns Grove Primary is a Good (2020) 3-11 primary and nursery school with approximately 390 students. It converted to become an academy in 2023.
Anns Grove is located in a vibrant community in Heeley and is a key feeder school to Newfield School, King Ecgbert and Mercia School. It has been the most over-subscribed school in Sheffield in recent years, and was recognised as one of 'The Top 250' primary schools in the country by The Sunday Times in 2020.
