Following its Outstanding Ofsted report in February, Mercia School’s first GCSE results were published this summer.

Mercia School has been named number one out of 6,951 secondary schools in the whole country for the overall performance of disadvantaged pupils, and third place for progress overall.

By every DFE performance metric, it has also outperformed every state and private school in Sheffield.
