Anns Grove Primary School values resonate strongly with those of Mercia Learning Trust and is a vital feeder school to all three of our secondaries. The school, situated in Heeley, S2, adjacent to Heeley City Farm, aligns well with our commitment to delivering exceptional education and opportunities to all students.

Rated as a 'Good' school by Ofsted in March 2020, Anns Grove Primary School presently accommodates 393 pupils, maintaining a balanced 2-form entry in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1, and a 1.5-form entry in Key Stage 2. Due to community demand and over-subscription, the school has increased its pupil admission numbers (PAN) into EYFS for the past three years. The school boasts excellent staff retention with a dedicated team of 55 members.

Anns Grove Primary School is highly sought-after, demonstrated by its status as the most oversubscribed primary school in Sheffield for both 2022 and 2023. In addition, the school was recognised as one of 'The Top 250' primary schools in the country in 2020 by The Sunday Times and was invited to participate in The Parliamentary Review as a best practice role model in the education sector.
