Leadership Training for Associate Staff

Our Leadership Training for Associate Staff programme is well underway, with participants gathering last week for Session 2 of this year-long initiative.

This bespoke programme, designed for associate staff across our trust, addresses the traditional bias in CPD towards teachers, offering tailored leadership training, skill development, and opportunities for collaboration.

Session 2 focused on strategic planning, time management, and the power of teams. Attendees:

  • Explored time management strategies with Claire Pender, Trust Improvement Director
  • Gained insights into effective teamwork with Sarah Bustamante, Assistant Headteacher at Woodlands Primary and Primary Improvement Lead
  • Were inspired by Dean Webster, Executive Director of Secondary Standards, as he shared his career journey, challenges, and successes

The programme also includes sessions on communication, artificial intelligence in the workplace, and opportunities to visit other schools within our trust.

We’re proud to champion professional development for all colleagues, ensuring they feel valued and equipped to thrive in their roles.
